Wicked Fairy has been on hiatus for quite a while now, due to time pressures from my job as lab director in Enterprise, and then leaving that job to come cross country and deal with elder care issues. However, things are starting to look up and fall into place. So, for the first time in two years, I placed a huge, wholesale (rather than personal crafting supply size) order on Thursday (actually 2 orders!) for supplies to make cold process soap, lip balm, bath bombs, and whatever else I might squeeze out of the batch. I can already think of at least a dozen things that I didn’t get, that I wish I had, but budget is an issue after the craziness of the last year.
The first place I ordered from, and recommend is Wholesale Supplies Plus. They have a wonderful fragrance oil and essential oil selection and lots of tutorials for both hobbyists and people who have craft businesses. They also have a good selection of containers for your products. I definitely do comparison price shopping between this and my other favorite site for oils, and such, trying to catch sales, but in the past, I have ordered from them a lot. The shipping is free for orders or $40, and you get a free gift for orders over $50 (and at different price increments above that).
My favorite site, and the second one I ordered from is Bramble Berry. I think this site is my favorite because of their great customer service. Each package comes with a sticker telling you who packed it, and they have a team ready to tackle any problems that you might have. Monthly sales specials, free fragrance oil samples (we discovered a favorite this way), a huge selection, and tips and tutorials throughout this site, and the Soap Queen blog sometimes make this my home away from home.
I know it will probably be at least a week or so until my products arrive, but I am happily obsessing and planning in the interim. I am also redesigning and re-branding my site while I wait. It’s a time-consuming and long overdue process. I am starting to get happy with the results. I can’t wait to hold the new Wicked Fairy products in my hands!
